The main objective of Quererla es crearla is to promote inclusive education in schools. For this reason, from the beginning, together with the social movement that promotes it, it has been building practical experiences. The first of these is that of CEIP La Parra (Almáchar, Málaga) which initiated a Participatory Action Research process. The first cycle of this process was distilled into a guide with which they aimed to help other schools to forge their own path. Thus, an isolated experience led to the generation of new experiences that learn from each other.
This is how the International Network of Schools for Inclusion and Equity was born, with the desire to advance in the challenge of developing more inclusive educational institutions, offering learning opportunities and a network that supports all students without exception. Each of the Schools that is part of the network is developing a Participatory Action Research, using the resources generated in Quererla es crearla during recent years, particularly the guide “How to do Participatory Action Research”. The process has the coordination of researchers from the University of Málaga, the contributions of movement activists and the support of the rest of the schools in the community, and will be driven and monitored through the Participatory Platform “We Decide Inclusive Education”, hosted on the University of Málaga’s server and managed participatively.
